How does Healite II Work?

Healite II works by utilising light to treat your skin on a cellular level, promoting cell turnover. By using specific wavelengths (830nm & 415nm), a variety of treatment options are possible including skin rejuvenation, active acne treatment, reduce redness & rosacea, hair rejuvenation and quick wound healing by sending gentle energy deep into the skin tissue.

 

633nm has been superseded by 830nm, hence only 830nm and 415nm are of clinical relevance and used at the clinic.

Yellow Light: 830nm Wavelength

This near-infrared wavelength 830nm is used for:

Blue Light: 415nm Wavelength

The 415nm wavelength is used for treatment of active acnes and congestion. The blue coloured light is responsible for killing off P.acnes bacteria via photobiomodulation​. When the population of P.acnes bacteria grows excessively, this can trigger a series of events and lead to acne formation.

Can I Combine Healite Therapy With Other Treatments?

Yes, not just an excellent standalone therapy, Healite II can be added to all treatments provided at Eleventh Heaven to simultaneously photorejuvenate and reduce procedural downtime while you relax under the warm light.

Is it Painful?

Healite II is a warm and relaxing treatment with no pain or downtime associated. Most treatment will take between 15-30 minutes to perform.

Is there any downtime?

Not at all.

Treatment Protocol

  • Photorejuvenation: Minimum 8 treatments; 2 treatments per week over 4 weeks period; single maintenance treatment monthly.
  • Rosacea: Minimum 8 treatments; 2 treatments per week over 4 weeks period.
  • Acne: Minimum 8 treatments; 2 treatments per week over 4 weeks period; alternating between 830nm and 415nm wavelengths.

How much does the treatment cost?

Special Considerations

This treatment is not suitable for patients on light-sensitising medications such as amiodarone, tetracyclines, amitriptyline etc. Please inform the clinic if you take any prescriptive medications.
