HIKO NOSE THREADS
The eagerly awaited HIKO nose threads have finally landed in Brisbane at your premiere aesthetic clinic, Eleventh Heaven™, and Dr. Ricky is the first doctor to introduce this treatment to Brisbane.
HIKO nose threads originated from Korea and HIKO means “high nose” in Korean. This procedure is now very commonly performed throughout Asia and is increasingly gaining popularity worldwide.
We utilise threads that are made of polydioxanone (PDO), a material that is commonly used in surgical sutures. These threads are then skilfully placed to lift & define the nose. Over time (between the 9-12 months mark) these threads dissolve and in doing so, encourage new collagen to grow to maintain the shape of the redesigned nose.
WHY NOSE THREADS
- Significantly safer alternative to nose filler without the significant risks of vascular occlusion (which may lead to tissue necrosis, blindness or stroke);
- A great alternative to a surgical rhinoplasty (in suitable candidates);
- Safer non-surgical option with short procedural time.
