How do you avoid the "Overfilled" look?
By respecting anatomy. The “overfilled” look is a result of placing product in the superficial fat pads. Dr Ricky places structural support deep on the bone, where it lifts the face rather than projecting it forward. Our signature aesthetic is undetectable restoration.
Does this treat jowls?
Indirectly, yes. The mid-face acts as a “coat hanger” for the skin. By re-establishing the cheekbone structure, we can often lift the sagging tissue of the lower face, improving the jawline profile without directly treating the jaw.
What is the downtime?
We utilise a “No-Touch” technique where possible to minimise trauma. While mild swelling is a normal physiological response, most patients return to social activities within 24–48 hours.
Is it painful?
