Chin Shape & Proportion

The anchor of the face. Harmonising the side profile with structural precision.

The chin is the most underrated feature in aesthetics.

It dictates the balance of your entire profile. A recessed chin makes the nose look larger. It shortens the neck. It makes jowls look heavier.

At Eleventh Heaven™, we view the chin as the structural anchor. Led by Dr Ricky Sia (KOL, National & Doctor Trainer), we don’t just “fill” chins. We restore architecture. We use the Riedel Plane principle to project the chin forward. This subtle adjustment realigns your nose, lips, and neck in a single treatment.

Located in Teneriffe. Serving patients from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and interstate.

Why the Chin Recedes

It is rarely just genetics. The lower face ages in three layers:

  • Bone Loss: The jawbone shrinks and rotates backward with age.

  • Soft Tissue Drop: The chin pad slides down, creating a “Witch’s Chin” or crease.

  • Muscle Tension: The chin muscle (Mentalis) creates a dimpled, “pebble” texture.

The Eleventh Heaven Protocol

Structural Projection (The E-Line)

We place structural points deep on the bone.

This physically advances the chin to meet the “E-Line” (connecting nose, lips, and chin).

  • Result: A balanced profile and visually a more refined nose.

2. Vertical Lengthening

For “short” or recessed faces, we lengthen the chin vertically to restore the aesthetic rule of thirds.

  • For Women: We create a tapered, oval contour to visually slim the face.

  • For Men: We widen and square the chin to add masculine strength and definition.

3. Muscle Relaxing

If your chin dimples when you talk, we combine structure with muscle relaxing treatments.

This smooths the texture and prevents the muscle from displacing the product.

Your Treatment Journey

  • The Analysis: We measure your profile against the Golden Ratio. We assess your bite and skeletal support.

  • The Plan: A bespoke architectural plan. We often treat the chin and jawline together.

  • The Procedure: Quick, precise, and performed deep on the bone for safety.

Medical Safety & Risks

Non-surgical chin projection is a medical procedure.

  • Suitability: Not all recessions can be treated non-surgically. Significant skeletal discrepancies (microgenia) may require surgery. We will be honest if this is the case.

  • Risks: The chin is a vascular area. Risks include bruising, swelling, and rare vascular events. Dr Ricky’s deep placement technique minimises these risks.

  • Outcomes: Results vary. The goal is improvement and balance, not perfection.

FAQs - Chin Shape and Proportion Treatment Brisbane

Will it look masculine?

No. We tailor the geometry to you. For women, we create a soft, tapered point to elongate the face. For men, we create a squarer width.

Does it hurt?

The chin is one of the most comfortable areas to treat. It has fewer nerve endings than the lips.

Can it help a double chin?

Yes. Projecting the chin forward stretches the neck skin, which can visually reduce submental fullness.

How long does it last?

Because the chin moves less than the lips, structural product often lasts 12–18 months or longer (varying by individual metabolism).
